Danicka Dillon didn’t know a lot about Jesus before coming to Trinity School this fall.
What she did know … she wanted to be Baptized – right on the spot, immediately.
“Pastor Schilling told me I had to wait – just a little bit so he could talk with my parents first,” shared Danicka, who is in fifth grade at Trinity.
On Nov. 2, Danicka and her two sisters, Aubrie, who is an eighth-grader at Trinity, and Vera were Baptized during Trinity’s 10:45 a.m. worship service.
“I’m super excited to be Baptized,” shared Danicka, whose favorite class at Trinity is Religion with Mrs. Gavrun. “I really love this school and want to go to church – a lot.”
Praise the Lord.
We continue to walk by faith, as chosen and crowned followers, proclaiming the sweet sound of the Gospel.
It’s our calling.
“He’s the reason we are here, why I’m here,” shared Danicka. “He is here to help us in life.”
Just like Zacchaeus, who struggled to free his hands and heart from cheating and stealing.
It was Jesus, who freed Zacchaeus from the clutching and grabbing – the fear of not having enough.
“Enough is when Jesus has you,” shared Pastor Golter. “Freed hands and heart go together with mission work.”
He’s got us.
We are: Chosen. Growing. Proclaiming. Crowned.
