Trinity’s mission is to share the Good News and to bring others to Christ. Trinity offers a wide array of studies and ministries – for people to find their comfort zone – to serve the Lord.
Trinity Lutheran School, which was established in 1870, provides a quality Christian education, with a focus on Christ, Curriculum, Character and Community. Trinity’s dedicated and passionate faculty and staff prepare students in preschool-eighth grade to be World Changers – with God and His word as the focal point.
So, how can you be involved ?
There are several easy ways that you can make a difference, including:
Spreading the word: If you know of someone that might be interested in sending their children to Trinity Lutheran, have them call the school office at 563-322-5224.
Give to Trinity’s Annual Fund campaign: You can make a gift to Trinity’s Annual Fund Campaign, which uses funds to help with tuition assistance. If you would like to make a gift, please contact the school office.
Pray: This is the most important. In addition to keeping Trinity School in your prayers, also keep the families that are considering enrolling in Trinity your prayers.
“In terms of enrollment, the sky’s the limit here at Trinity,” said Tim Leibold. “We’ve got a great staff, great pastoral staff, great support staff, great families, and most importantly a great God, who provides.”
Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. for students ages 2 through high school. Students will be placed in age-appropriate groups where they will experience God’s Word through crafts, singing and prayer.
Trinity’s High School Youth Midweek Gatherings are on Wednesdays from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Midweek Gatherings provide a safe place for teens to spend in fellowship, food and fun.
Trinity Lutheran has put a strong emphasis on connecting and building relationships with families so they can develop a lasting relationship with Jesus. Trinity hosts several events – Neon Run, Trunk or Treat, Movie Nights, Easter Egg Hunt, Bible studies – each year to help connect families and guide them in their faith.
Trinity’s music ministry is thriving, stirring the soul in our time of worship. In addition to an adult choir, Trinity also offers and children’s choir, along with a handbell choir.
Weekly Bible Studies
Bible study—along with the Divine Service—is like breathing the pure air of God’s breath. He makes us alive in Him. Multiple bible studies are available for young and old, at church and in the home. “They received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so,” (Acts 17:11). Bible study is what doing, learning, searching, equipping…for it’s a dark world out there. Broken and hurting people need help. We’re here for Davenport and beyond.
It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me’- (John 6:45)
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is designed to encourage women and the congregation as a whole in the area of missions. The mission of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is to assist each woman of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.
To respond to God’s Grace, Trinity has offered opportunities at the local, national, and international levels to do short-term mission work. Members have spent time in the Dominican Republic building a foundation with their schools. They have served with Habitat for Humanity, local soup kitchens and national relief sites.
