Blessed by God’s gifts

When Andy and Jessica Gavrun accepted positions at Trinity – almost a year ago – it was a blessing, one of the many gifts from God.

Jessica filled Trinity’s need for a full-time music teacher, and Andy filled Trinity’s need for a fourth-grade teacher.

Andy is now filling another longtime need of Trinity – having a full-time Director of Advancement and Donor Development.

We are blessed by God’s gifts.

“I’m most excited about the opportunity to listen to the story of others, build meaningful relationships, and help the Davenport community discover the incredible work the Lord is doing at Trinity,” shared Andy.

The focus of the Donor Development/Advancement position is to ensure that the work God is doing at Trinity is seen, celebrated, supported and shared, so that our church and school can continue to flourish and proclaim Christ.

“My hope for this role is to help advance the work of God’s kingdom by uplifting and supporting the ministry carried out at Trinity,” Andy shared.

Some of Andy’s initial goals include listening and learning from our congregation’s experiences, meeting with community partners to strengthen relationships, increase the awareness of our school, and deepening connections with our alumni.

“Above all, I long for those in our region to be drawn to the Lord’s gracious gifts in the Divine Service and for our school to thrive as the good news of Christ is shared with joy,” Andy shared.

We are blessed by God’s gifts.

We are: Chosen. Growing. Proclaiming. Crowned.
