How long, Lord?

In Psalm 13, David cries out, “How long, Lord? How long will my enemy triumph over me?”

How long, Lord?

With every senseless act of violence, taking the lives of both young and old, we too cry out, “How long, Lord?”

Just like David, our pain and lament lead us to prayer.

Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge (Psalm 16:1).

Protecting the students and staff at Trinity is paramount.

In 2018, the priority became even more heightened after a visiting NLSA accreditation team deemed Trinity was lacking in its security measures.

Trinity took action.

A safety and security team was created.

In 2018, a buzz-in system was installed at the main entrance of the school.

In 2019, a vestibule – a holding area for visitors (pictured)- was built in the main entrance of the school.

Security cameras have been installed – internally and externally.

Upgrades have been implemented in the past seven years, including an in-house safety communication system for church and school workers to utilize in emergency situations, along with a check-in system for all visitors.

Trinity’s safety and security team remains active, pursuing, investigating and implementing safeguards to keep our campus free from harm.

We still have work to do. We hold on tightly to his Word.

The Lord will keep you from all harm – He will watch over your life (Psalm 121).

We are: Chosen. Growing. Proclaiming. Crowned.
