Trinity’s Natalie Smith will be competing at the National Lutheran Cross Country Meet on Saturday (Oct. 26) in Mequon, Wis, on the campus of Concordia Wisconsin. Trinity will be having its Fall Book Fair on Nov. 5-7. The Book Fair – which will be in the school library – will be open from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 5, and during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Nov. 6-7.
Trinity will be hosting its annual Fall Craft Fair on Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to the more than 40 vendors being on site, there will be home-made soups and apple dumplings for sale. The cost to attend the event is free.
What’s next for Trinity Lutheran? It’s a legit ask. In the past year, Trinity underwent a much-needed refresh to its campus – both internally and externally. Tithing or tipping. I never had heard it said this way before; it struck me. Growth in giving doesn’t come automatically at conversion. Every believer needs instruction on what is God-pleasing. I’ve noticed that restaurants suggest tipping percentages: 20 or 15 percent. What about your Lord? He doesn’t suggest tipping as an afterthought reflection. The bible talks about “first giving.”
Trinity will be hosting a Diaper Dash/Baby Shower on Sunday (Oct. 13) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. In addition to accepting diapers and baby wipes for the Women’s Choice Center, there will be a kid-friendly baby shower on Sunday that will include fleece baby blanket tying, quilt square design and designing fabric markers.
