Singles ministry push at Trinity

It’s been a long time coming – establishing a singles ministry at Trinity Lutheran.

The timing is ripe.

It’s an important piece of the ministry, according to David King, who is a new member at Trinity.

“It’s an opportunity for singles to build a community while also building their faith in Jesus, growing through scripture, prayer and worship,” shared David, who is leading the singles ministry charge at Trinity. “It’s where people are encouraged to serve, support one another, and grow together in grace.”

Trinity’s initial singles ministry gathering is Aug. 3 at 9:30 a.m. in the church library.

The purpose of the gathering is to gauge interest in how Trinity can move forward with a singles ministry.

“We want to invite all single adults to walk together in faith, purpose, and joyful service in Christ,” shared David.

The purpose of Trinity’s singles ministry is to support singles in growing in faith, fellowship and service.

It’s about Christ-centered friendships, encouraging confidence in one’s identity and worth in Christ, deepening one’s spiritual life through Bible study and prayer and to serve the church and the community.

“An interested visitor to Trinity, who is just starting their faith journey may benefit from a singles ministry, supporting them in their search for faith in Jesus,” David shared.

It’s been a long time coming.

We move forward in faith.

We are: Chosen. Growing. Proclaiming. Crowned.
