On Sunday, May 26, Trinity Lutheran will honor Lisa Shoumaker and Sara Siokos.
Lisa Shoumaker, who has served as a teacher for 30-plus years, including the past 16 years at Trinity teaching fifth and second grade, is retiring at the end of this year,
Sara Siokos, who has served as a preschool teacher at Trinity, has decided not to return next year.
There will be a special recognition during Trinity’s 8 a.m. worship service on May 26, followed by a reception in their honor at approximately 9 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
To further honor these wonderful servants, we encourage those who attend to participate in a card shower to show appreciation for their years of service.
Students who have had Miss Shou as a teacher will be asked to sing a song to honor her. This will be one that they will know without practice!
